THEY CAME OUT PERFECT!!!
PAN: 9 x 13
DOUBLE RECIPE FOR 9 X 13" PAN
Cooked Intermal Temperature: 200 Degrees
Batter Consistency: LIke a thick cake batter and not the same as a brownie batter as there is nochcooalte in it to thicken it up
Ingredients:
● 9 oz (about 2 cups) all-purpose flour
HIGH ALTITUDE: Add 2 extra Tbsp.
● 1 tsp baking powder
HIGH ALTITUDE: Reduce to ⅛ tsp.
● ½ tsp Kosher salt
● 3 oz unsalted butter, melted and cooled
HIGH ALTITUDE: Reduce by 1 Tbsp.
● 2 oz vegetable oil (about ¼ cup)
HIGH ALTITUDE: Reduce by ¼ Tbsp.
● 8 oz (1 cup) light brown sugar, packed
HIGH ALTITUDE: reduce by 2 Tbsp.
● 4 oz (½ cup) granulated sugar
HIGH ALTITUDE: Reduce by 1 Tbsp.
● 2 large eggs
HIGH ALTITUDE; Add 1 extra egg
● 1 large egg yolk
HIGH ALTITUDE; Add 1 extra yolk
● 2 tbsp whole milk
HIGH ALTITUDE: Add 1 Tbsp.
● 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
● 6 oz chopped toasted nuts (optional; walnuts or pecans are great)
● 6 oz semisweet or dark chocolate chips (optional)
or: 12 oz. semisweet dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat Convection Oven to 350°F or Conventional Oven to 375 degrees. . Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together:

○ Flour
○ Baking powder
○ Salt
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine Granulated Sutar, Light Brown Sugar, Melted Butter and Oil. Whisk until smooth.
4. Add eggs, egg yolk, milk, and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture. Whisk until fully incorporated.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir just until combined — don’t over mix.
6. Fold in optional add-ins: chocolate chips and/or nuts.
7. Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.
8. Bake for approximately 1 hour until spongy to the touch, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR FINGER ON THE TOP OF THE BROWNIES TO TEST FOR “SPONGINESS”; IF NOT DONE, YOU WILL CAUSE AN INDENTATION.
9. Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares
